Daveyon McFadden — Fly — has twenty years of barbering behind him and holds a licence in two states, Oregon and California. The chair is on Wilshire Boulevard: valet out front, Wi-Fi inside, and a black cape against a white wall in almost every photo he posts.
The line up is the signature. Clients on Booksy call it surgical, and they mean the hard razored edge that shows up the same way on a bald fade, a full beard or a four-year-old’s first burst fade.
It isn’t only fades. Partial units, hairline replacement and full men’s units sit on the same price list, and the mobile service goes out to houses, studios and film sets — a full day on set is a standing booking. Every cut after 7pm is $100. The late chair has one price.
